+ What is your cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy is 6 hours prior to class start time. This is designed to ensure that the studio can operate as smoothly as possible, and to allow adequate notice for others to enrol in classes. An email reminder is sent to you 8 hours prior to class commencing, giving 2 hours to cancel at no charge. Cancellation with less than 6hr notice will be charged at full rate. Cancellation periods

+ Is there a minimum membership term?
Yes, all memberships have a minimum contract term of 3 months for all standard memberships, excluding sale memberships which have there own terms. Please refer to membership terms and conditions sent via email upon sign up date. All membership cancellations are required to be notified via email to studio@soulathletic.com.au 4 weeks prior to desired cancellation.
+ Do you have an intro offer for new clients?
Yes, we have a New Client offer valid across all studios - 5 classes for $50 valid for 14 days from your first class. This pack is only available to new clients of Soul Athletic. Please note, if the system identifies that you have attended any of our studios previously your account with be charged at casual class rates, for all attended classes.
+ Do I need to have some kind of base fitness to attend?
NOOOOO, we absolutely love newbies. It doesn’t matter what how you are, what fitness level you have, what gender you are. Everyone is warmly welcomed to our studios.
+ What do I need to know for my first class? What do I wear??
Wear comfortable clothes, whether that be tights and tee/singlet for ladies, shorts and tee for men, you need to be comfortable and able to move easily. You also NEED to wear pilates grip socks - which are avilable for sale in-studio prior to class. This is COMPULSORY to be able to attend class. Arrive 5 minutes early to your class, let your instructor know of any past or present injuries/pregnanies so that they do they best to provide modifications for you. We have small storage areas for your personal belongings during class.
+ What class do I start with?
Reformer Starter – we recommend all clients start with this class to get familar with the reformers and your own body. Once you have attended at least 3 classes and feeling strong within our body you are welcome to attend other classes.
+ I am pregnant – can I attend classes?
You are welcome to attend Reformer Starter classes provided you have a low risk pregnancy, have doctors clearence, notify your instructor prior to class and complete the class at your own capability, resting when you need. However, we do not recommend you start pilates in your third trimester, unless it is our Prenatal specific classes. We have prenatal specific reformer pilates workshops running each month in our Parkdale studio for all stages of pregnancy. Enquire with studio@soulathletic.com.au for more information.
+ I have recently had a baby – can I attend?
We require you to obtain your GP/Obstetrician clearance prior to booking and attending classes. This generally occurs post 6/8 weeks, however depends on your situation and recovery.
+ How old do you need to be to attend classes?
All clients need to be over the age of 16 years old to attend classes. Excluding our little bubbas attending with their parents in parents & bubs classes.
+ What facilities are available?
Parkdale – We have storage space for your belongings, filtered water, showers, toliets/changeroom & a yummy wholefoods café downstairs. Beaumaris, Black Rock & Sandringham – We have storage space for your belongings, filtered water, toliets/change room Middle Park - We have storage space for your belongings, filtered water, showers, toliets/changeroom. Elwood - We have storage space for your belongings, filtered water, toliet.
+ Do you have memberships?
Yes we have memberships across all studios. Please refer to the “Pricing” page for more information.
+ How do I book classes?
You can book into classes directly on our website via the “Timetable” page or via booking in the “Soul Athletic" App. Simply search select the date and time, then click book. You can filter based on location also.
+ Can I just turn up to class instead?
No we do not offer walk-ins to classes. Due to ensuring you do not miss out on class and to ensure full traceability of clients attending.
+ What if my class is cancelled?
We rarely cancel, however if we do we will notify you immediately via email&/SMS. You will not be charged for this class.
+ What is my class I’d like to attend says “Waitlist”?
This means that the class is fully booked. However, still add your name to the waitlist as sometimes people need to cancel and then you will be notified if a spot comes up. Our system will automatically put you in that class, and charge you for the class. So if you can not attend a waitlisted class, please cancel your waitlisted spot and ensure you have class credits available if a spot becomes available or you will be charged casual class pricing. Wailists Notifications - All classes prior to a 7am start time, have a 9 hour notification blockout. All classes after 7am start time hold a 60minute notification blockout, giving you enough notice to attend the class if a spot becomes available.
+ How can I see how many classes I have left on my account?
Via our Soul Athletic app, you can view your class credits in your profile after signing in.
+ Can I suspend or extend my class packs?
We do not extend class packs including intro offers aside from in circumstances such as state lockdowns or extreme events. All memberships can be placed on hold for 7-60 days. To place memberships on hold please email studio@soulathletic.com.au
+ Do you offer Gift Vouchers?
Yes, we do and we would love for you to share our Soul Athletic love with your friends and family. You can purchase a gift voucher for any amount on the pricing page.
+ How does your waitlist work?
If there is a full class, add yourself to the waitlist however this doesn't confirm you have a spot. Ensure your email and sms notifications are turned on so we can let you know if a spot becomes available. Then if a spot becomes available you will be added by the system, so if you are on the waitlist ensure you remove yourself if you can not attend. Also ensure you have a class credit available via membership or packs, if a spot becomes available the system will charge you casual rates if no credit remaining. If you cannot attend most importantly please cancel.
+ Is my child suitable to come to a parents and bubs class?
If your child is a non mover they are suitable at our reformer pilates classes. However unfortunately movers are not able to attend due to safety and possible injury.
+ Are children able to attend studio whilst their parent attends class?
Children of any age are welcome to attend any Parents and Bubs classes, however outside of this. No children or anyone that is not booked into the class are able to attend the studio during class times.
+ Do you need to wear socks?
YES, all clients are required to wear socks (ideally grip socks) to all classes. This ensures our hygience is kept at the highest of standards. All members can purchase socks in-studio for a discounted rate.
+ I'm running late can I still attend?
If this is your first class with Soul Athletic you will not be able to join the class late due to liability of injuries and reformer safety. You will be asked to return for another class. However, you are a regular member and are later than 5 minutes after class start time you will not be able to join the class either. Any clients late to class are deemed - late cancel/no show and will loose their class credit.
